 Today we learned about argument. we took notes on the parts of an argument. we also did an assignment on illuminate on rhetorical appeals. we had to look at ads and presidential campaigns and see what rhetorical appeal they used

 Today we learned about evidence. we learned where evidence comes from and how to use it.we looked at oj simpson case and how they manipulated the evidence. we also looked at various crime cases to show us how to use evidence the right way

 Today we learned about how to create an argument. We talked about the components of an argument and different types. We talked about Logos, pathos, and ethos and how to use them. I will use this lesson on the test. I will also use this lesson when I’m a grown up if someone is arguing against me.

 Today we analyzed Emily Dickinson's quotes. I learned how to analyze quotes and find conflict and theme. I will use this in the future to analyze things to use for evidence and stuff like that.

 Today, we presented our one- pagers. I didn’t get my turn yet. We also retook the origin myth quiz. I did better, but i still didn’t get a good score.

Today we worked on our one pager. I was assigned to make a one pager on the poem "'Hope' is the Thing With Feathers." This poem taught me that hope is strong and can help you even during the hardest times. You just have to be patient. I liked this lesson because I really like drawing and being creative. I feel good about this assignment because my drawing is good and I really connected to the poem and was able to show that in my one-pager

 Today we were shown some trailers about Emily Dickinson. I was able to learn more about her. We also individually read an Emily Dickinson poem and created a one-pager about the poem
