 Today we read and analyzed the poem “The Negro Speaks of Rivers”. I learned a lot of new things like how black people were the first people on earth. I liked this lesson because it taught me a lot through figurative speech. I also like how it used rivers to show changes in time. I feel pretty tired today because I stayed up calling my best friend and doing homework last night.
