 Today we started reading “Fences” by August Wilson. We learned about the setting and what was happening in the play. We havent started the actual play. I feel good today because I like my outfit

 Today we went over the poem “Mother to Son” by Langston Hughes. I learned about how he used figurative language to compare life to stairs. I connected with this poem because I also go to my mom often for advice. This impacted me to help me appreciate my mom more. I liked this lesson because we went over it together as a class. My day was good today, but I am tired because I spent the night studying.
